Bradley N. Walter, M.D.
Dr. Walter is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in total joints and sports medicine. He has been with Thomasville Orthopedic Center since 2000.
Dr. Walter is a native of Plainwell, Michigan. He received his bachelor of science degree from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky. Dr. Walter received his medical degree from University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1994. He continued his training by completing an Orthopaedic Surgery residency in 1999 with Michigan State University at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan.
Dr. Walter is a clinical surgical advisor and member of the Joint Implant Surgery and Research Foundation and has been featured in their Update News publication. He is also an editorial board member for the Reconstructive Review Journal and a study group member for Tissue Sparing Implant™ (TSI ™) Total Hip Stem Designs.
Dr. Walter is an equity member of Concept, Design and Development, LLC, which specializes in state-of-the-art research, development, consulting, and medical products in the field of total joint replacement. Dr. Walter is also the sole proprietor of Innovative Orthopedic Design, LLC, an intellectual property holding company which has several patents pending based on his own ideas for new and improved joint products.
Dr. Walter is a leader in the total hip and knee community and is extremely well regarded by both his physician peers and the thousands of patients he has treated. He has special interest and training in the ASI minimally invasive hip replacement and has developed in a very short time a significant reputation for his expertise.
Dr. Walter is an instructor at the Florida State University College of Medicine.
During his time off, Dr. Walter enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, and six children.
