Thomasville Orthopedic Center has been paying close attention to COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). While no one knows how severe this outbreak will be, please be assured that the safety of our patients, employees and visitors remains of utmost priority. As healthcare providers, it is already our standard to utilize infection control best practices in our day to day work.

As news and information regarding Coronavirus is rapidly changing, we encourage you to please contact us at (229) 226-9141 to reschedule your appointment if you:

  • Are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, particularly a fever, cough or shortness of breath
  • Or anyone close to you have had close contact with anyone diagnosed with Coronavirus or the flu in the last three weeks
  • Have traveled outside the United States within the last three weeks
  • Have been diagnosed with Coronavirus, the flu or any other communicable illness in the last three weeks

Everyone can take precautions against the spread of Coronavirus including:

  • Clean your hands often
  • Avoid close contact
  • Stay home if you’re sick
  • Cover coughs and sneezes
  • Wear a facemask if you are sick
