Magnetic Resonance Imaging

(MRI) is a non-invasive method used to create a composite, three-dimensional representation of your body. Physicians can use these detailed, clear images to identify and diagnose a wide range of conditions. The difference between traditional MRI units and an open unit is the imaging table. One slides through a tunnel and the other is open sided affording more space around the patient and allowing for a wider range of positions. This is particularly beneficial to patients who are uncomfortable in confined spaces. Thomasville Orthopedics Open MRI offers its patient's onsite convenience for such services, but the imagining machine is also available to the medical community at large.
